The TV schedule for England and Scotland in the group stage of the 2026 World Cup and beyond is expected to attract colossal viewing audiences again.

BBC Sport and ITV Football have broadcasting rights to the competition in the UK and will split games at the tournament, including matches featuring the home nations.

At the 2022 finals, more than 19 million people watched the Three Lions go out against France in the quarter-finals.

World Cup 2026: Which England games are on BBC and ITV?

England’s first match, against Croatia, and third, against Panama, will be on ITV. BBC Sport will show their second, against Ghana.

Their potential last-32, last-16 and semi-final matches will be on the BBC. A quarter-final would be on ITV, with both broadcasters showing the final.
