Similar to previous years, Geoff Keighleythe man behind the Game Awards, has taken charge once again as the host of the Summer Game Fest 2026. He is not only the guy standing on stage and announcing new video games to the entire world, but is also the man who has funded the SGF, proudly carrying the spirit of E3.
He has been working actively in the industry for around 30 years, and his passion for video games has led to him producing and hosting the Summer Game Fest and The Game Awards for the past few years. Besides him, Lucy James will also be co-hosting the SGF 2026.

Who is Geoff Keighley
Geoff’s career might have started long ago, working on sites like My city and also hosting GameTrailersTV, but he has long taken the mantle of hosting some of the biggest gaming shows ever since. He has been the face and the man behind The Game Awards and The Summer Game Fest for several years.
Who is Lucy James
Alongside him, Lucy James, a journalist and a big name in the gaming community who has been a major part of the community for several years, is also co-hosting the SGF 2026.
As announced during the show, both Geoff and Lucy are also part of a new newsletter called Looking For Games.
The Summer Game Fest 2026 has kicked off with two major reveals, Resident Evil: Veronica and Alien Isolation 2, alongside an announcement from the studio behind Cuphead, confirming a new title.
