Ramadan Ondash has waited a long time for this moment. With his first flyweight triumph in the books, the Lebanese teenager is wasting absolutely no time naming exactly who he wants next.
The Tiger Muay Thai martial artist overcame Suriyanlek Por Yenying in their flyweight Muay Thai showdown in the main event of The Inner Circle 16 inside Bangkok’s legendary Lumpinee Stadium on May 29.
The hard-fought decision triumph marked Ondash’s first outing at 135 pounds and confirmed the move up in weight has unlocked a far more dangerous version of the Lebanese phenom.
Now, the path forward is crystal clear — and it ends with a strap around ‘The Scorpion’s’ waist.

Before the gold, however, Ondash has one specific name in mind.
“The future is the belt. And… I need ‘Jojo.’ Johan Ghazali. I love him, he’s my friend. But in the ring, no have friends,” the 19-year-old Lebanese striking specialist told ONE Championship.
“You know, everyone wants me to fight ‘Jojo.’ Everyone from Malaysia, Thailand, because we are young and tough fighters. I respect him, he’s like my brother, and I respect him so much. But let’s go, let’s get it, ‘Jojo’!” he added.
Ramadan Ondash now has the momentum, the callout and the energy of the fan base firmly behind him. The next move belongs to “Jojo.”
Leading up to his clash against Suriyanlek at The Inner Circle on May 29, Ramadan Ondash made clear that if he’d prefer his hypothetical clash against “Jojo” to go down in Japan.
“If I win this fight, I want to fight ‘Jojo’ at (a) ONE SAMURAI event in Japan. I love Japan. It’s my dream to fight there. I want to fight at ONE SAMURAI 2 in August,” the 19-year-old Tiger Muay Thai affiliate told ONE Championship.
ONE SAMURAI 2 goes down inside the Ota City Gymnasium on Aug. 8. The promotion has already unveiled a couple of barnburner duels for the show, with more announcements coming soon.
