The Swedish outlet reports that Newcastle’s offer is worth 260 million Swedish kronor.

At current exchange rates, that equates to roughly £21 million, a sizeable fee for a teenager who is still in the early stages of his professional career.

The significance of the figure goes beyond Newcastle’s interest alone.

Expressen reports that the deal would become the largest transfer sale in Allsvenskan history if completed.

The current record is Lucas Bergvall’s move from Djurgardens to Tottenham in 2024, which was around £17m, meaning Yohanna would surpass one of the most notable transfers ever completed by a Swedish club.

That helps explain why Newcastle are not the only side to have monitored his progress.
