Mega babyface officially announced as Andrade’s next opponent in AEW

AEW star Andrade has been one of the top stars of the roster right now. Despite being a heel in the Don Callis Family, he gets cheered by the crowd due to his excellent wrestling skills and charisma. Unfortunately, he may not get any support from the crowd this Wednesday as a beloved babyface will lock horns with him. Orange Cassidy currently holds the AEW World Trios Championships alongside Kyle O’Reilly and Roderick Strong.

The Conglomeration has defended the trio’s titles against LFI, MxM TV, the Lethal Twist and Don Callis Family. Their latest defence was against Rush, Dralistico and Sammy Guevara on the latest edition of Collision. On the June 30 edition of Collision, the Don Callis Family tried to take the titles from the Conglomeration. However, Trent Beretta, Lance Archer and Rocky Romero couldn’t win the AEW World Trios Championship away.

However, it seems like things are far from over between the Conglomeration and the Don Callis Family. AEW will present a special edition of Dynamite this week, Summer Blockbuster.

Along with many high-stakes matches, Tony Khan has added another massive match to the card. Don Callis Family’s Andrade will lock horns with Orange Cassidy this Wednesday. This will be their first one-on-one encounter in All Elite Wrestling.

Andrade wants a shot at the AEW World Championship

Since returning in January 2026, the Real Latino Man has been wanting to get a shot at the AEW World Championship. Unfortunately, he has yet to receive one.

It seems like Andrade is focused on the title more than anything following Double or Nothing. A few weeks ago on Dynamite, he teased taking the world championship away from MJF down the line.

“Now that the stupid Stadium Stampede is over, I can focus on winning the world title. I’m beating the stupid and Patito MJF. MJF, you think you are better than a Real Latino Man? How you know?” he said.

It will be interesting to see when El Idolo faces Maxwell for the top prize.
