Broken Blade is an action RPG simulation on Roblox where you progress by repairing powerful weapons, defeating enemies, and collecting rare materials. As you level up, you can unlock stronger blades and challenge tougher areas across the game’s Nordic-inspired world. Moon Cut is one of the strongest weapons you can obtain in Broken Blade. This four-star Katana can only be acquired through crafting, making it a long-term goal for many players.

This guide covers how to get the Moon Cut weapon, its crafting requirements, and the best ways to farm its materials.

Moon Cut is a Katana-type weapon that belongs to the four-star rank in Broken Blade. To obtain it, you first need to find its Broken Blade version and then gather all of the required crafting materials. Follow these steps to locate it:

  • Head to Nidavellir, commonly known as the Demon Challenge Island.
  • To travel there, interact with the teleport portal found in front of every island. Open the teleport menu and select the fifth area.
  • After teleporting, walk toward the respawn checkpoint.
  • The Broken Blade version of Moon Cut can be found right beside the checkpoint, where you can purchase it.

After crafting Moon Cut, you can further upgrade it by visiting the Forge Master NPC on Muspelheim Island or by using the Soul Forge on Jotunheim Island. By adding higher-rarity materials, you can enhance the weapon and unlock additional stat bonuses, with even better perks.

Moon Cut Requirements

You will need the following materials to craft Moon Cut:

  • Money: x150000000
  • Gems: x5052010
  • Katana Piece I: x5,000
  • Katana Piece II: x2,500
  • Katana Piece III: x1,000
  • Moon Piece: x100
  • Fire Seed: x10,000

Most of the Coins and Gems required for crafting can be obtained by defeating bosses, grinding enemies, and redeeming codes. Similarly, Katana Pieces can be farmed from higher-level enemies and boss fights. While all of these materials require a fair amount of grinding, the hardest ones to obtain are Moon Pieces, Fire Seeds, and Katana Piece I.

  1. Katana Piece I is a rare material that can be found in Mythical and Legendary Chests or obtained as a very rare drop from mobs.
  2. Fire Seeds also have a low drop rate and can be farmed from enemies. You can also collect additional Fire Seeds by interacting with bunnies that spawn across different islands.
  3. However, Moon Pieces are by far the rarest material needed for this weapon. To farm them, you must head inside the Nidavellir Colosseum Arena and interact with the Demon Summoner NPC to start a raid. Every raid boss has a chance to drop Moon Pieces, although the drop rate is quite low. These raid bosses are extremely difficult, and you should ideally be above level 10,000 before attempting them. Even the easiest raid boss, Moraros, can be challenging if your build is not strong enough.

Because of this, many players choose to obtain Moon Pieces and other crafting materials through trading. Several late-game veteran players are often willing to trade extra materials, making this one of the most convenient ways to finish crafting Moon Cut.
