Ultimate Driving Machine is the latest weekly challenge in the Welcome to Japan Festival Playlist. It arrived with the Winter Festival Season on June 4, 2026and it will remain active until June 10, 2026. This week, the spotlight car is the 2020 BMW M2 Competition Coupe. This variant of the M2 features an S55 twin-turbo inline-six from the M3/M4 lineup and has enough power to back it up.
In this article, we shed light on all the tasks in the Ultimate Driving Machine weekly challenge in Forza Horizon 6 and how you can complete them.
Weekly challenges in Horizon games arrive with each new weekly season update. They feature four distinct tasks that must be completed in the spotlight car. Therefore, to proceed with all the challenges, one must acquire this vehicle from the Auto show, Auction houseor any other means that unlock the vehicle.

For the first objective, you must own this car and drive it to complete the task. But since this particular model is not available for purchase in the Autoshow, that poses a bit of a problem for newer players.

However, fret not, since the unlock requirement for the M2 Competition Coupé is to acquire the Yellow wristband from Horizon Festival. This is the starting wristband, which makes it quite easy to obtain early in the game. Additionally, you can purchase this car from the Auction house.
For the second objective in Ultimate Driving Machine, you must earn three stars from Speed Trap open-world activities. Although it is possible to complete this challenge from a single Speed Trap, you can instead earn one star from three different attempts.

Locate the Ito Straight Speed Trap as shown in the map above and make your way to it from the northeast highway as shown by the white player-arrow. You will have a relatively straight run-up to the cameras, making it easy for you to reach the 241.4 km/h target speed for three stars.
This is the simplest task for the Ultimate Driving Machine weekly challenge. While in free roam or during any race/event, open the Photomode and click a picture with your car in the frame. This completes our third challenge with ease.

Time Attacks take place on circuits where you record a lap time on a specific circuit. For the final challenge in Ultimate Driving Machine, you must reach the activity as shown in the map below and complete three full laps without worrying about your lap times or pace.

Upon completing three lapsyou will obtain the 25,000 Credit reward and acquire five Forzathon points for the Winter Festival week in the Welcome to Japan Playlist.
