The actress is absolutely smitten by Lorenzo Lamasand she is admitting that no human force could have brought such a perfect connection her way, nearly two months after they debuted as a couple at an event.
Heather Locklear was previously in a very publicized marriage with Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee in 1986, but everything came to an end in 1993 due to allegations of infidelity.
The media personality opened up about the role fate has played in landing a connection with Lamas nearly four decades after their first meeting. She said as much during an appearance on the “Hollywood & Divine” podcast, where she tagged their meeting as fated and deeply spiritual.
It is noteworthy that Locklear also officially referred to Lamas as her boyfriend for the first time publicly on the podcast when she said, “My new guy is very … everything.”
The 64-year-old explained that expressing love in this chapter of her life feels rooted in gratitude and faith, describing their bond as something she believes was brought into her life for a reason. In her words:
“I’m just like, when I tell this person I love him, I’m really saying, ‘I love you, God.’ Because that’s what happened. It’s from God.”

Lamas also reflected on their iconic romance during a previous interview with Fox News Digital, admitting he never expected their paths to reconnect romantically after so many years.
He continued that after a reflection on his past romantic endeavors, he now understands that all those experiences led him to Locklear, who is one of the most remarkable women in his life.
The lovebirds first met more than four decades ago during the peak of their early Hollywood careers. At the time, Locklear made waves for her role in Dynasty, while Lamas starred in Falcon Crest.
Their introduction came during a memorable 1983 Playboy magazine photoshoot that paired the two rising stars together.

Locklear and Lamas’ relationship reportedly evolved over the months, and they have met with each other’s families. As reported by The Blast, the couple’s family has been bonding very quietly behind the scenes as they advance in the romance.
The couple reportedly introduced each other’s families when Lamas visited Locklear’s mansion in Thousand Oaks, California, with his kids and grandchildren.
The actor’s daughter, Shayne Lamas, also confirmed the visit in a social media post by sharing a picture of her dad and Locklear from their prime during a modeling shoot.
The duo’s families also had a good time bonding with each other, grabbing lunch, and catching movies. Locklear and Lamas’ family visit came months after the couple was spotted enjoying New Year’s Eve at a popular steakhouse in Las Vegas.

Prior to the Lamas romance headlines, Locklear had a handful of high-profile relationships that kept her in the public eye. Her first major relationship was with Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee.
The two got married in 1986, when they were both at the pinnacle of their popularity, and they became the focus of Hollywood’s hottest gossip. However, after seven years together, their marriage came to an end in 1993, riddled with claims of cheating.
Locklear eventually remarried another rocker, Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora. The couple tied the knot in 1994 and had a daughter, named Ava, during their partnership.
Locklear and Sambora became one of the most beloved celebrity couple duos of the year with their time together, and they eventually announced their separation in 2007.
These days, Locklear seems to have started anew with Lamas, whom she first encountered in the 1980s as they both were emerging as successful artists.

Guests were invited to celebrate the event in October 2023 aboard Royal Caribbean’s Wonder of the Seas in Port Canaveral, Florida. The cruise ship setting of Lamas’ wedding to Kenna Scott added a unique touch to their ceremony in an industry filled with weddings on the beach, resorts, or Las Vegas venues.
The wedding happened two years after Lamas popped the question to Scott in February 2021. Before then, he was married to Shawna Craig from 2011 to 2018. Lamas and Scott ended their marriage in July 2025, citing irreconcilable differences.
