Anoints in Path of Exile 2 provides an extra edge to any build, as getting hold of a notable passive skill that isn’t in line with a build’s path is useful. Players can anoint any notable passive on only an Amulet, as long as they have the required liquid currency from Delirium. However, some of these liquids are either very expensive in the market, or very cheap, making some anoints almost entirely out of reach for anyone going for a budget build.

The Defensive Reflexes node is useful for anyone looking to cap block chance in their build. Having overcapped block in useful in endgame content, especially for budget builds, as it is one of the most powerful defensive layers with very small investment.

It grants 12% increased block chance and 5 mana on block.

At the time of writing this article (June 2, 2026), the entire anoint should take you around 3 Exalts.


2) Essence Infusion (Envy, Envy, Greed)

The notable passive grants 25% increased Armor and Evasion Rating, alongside an Ailment Threshold equal to the equipped boot’s lowest roll between Evasion and Armor.

Anointing Insulated Treads should set you back by approximately 3 Exalts.
