On June 7, 2026, HYBE labels announced the special collaboration digital single ICONIC BY MISTAKE involving LE SSERAFIM, ILLIT, and KATSEYE. The official MV teaser dropped on June 8, 2026, via KATSEYE’s account and related channels.
The full music video is scheduled to release on June 10 at 8 am PT and 11 am ET. The song itself comes out on June 11 at 9 pm PT, which is June 12 at 12 am ET and 1 pm KST. A performance is also set for Mnet’s M Countdown on June 11. Pre-save links for the track are available.
The 27-second teaser opens with dark, horror-inspired scenes. It shows lightning storms over cornfields at night and a graveyard with a member posed on a tombstone displaying the title ICONIC BY MISTAKE.
It also features schoolgirl-style outfits in a theatrical setting, close-up shots of intense facial expressions including one with blood near the mouth, and group formations in dramatic lighting with wind effects and dramatic poses. It ends with a sparkling, jewel-like logo for the title along with the release information.
The collaboration brings together members from the three groups under the HYBE umbrella. LE SSERAFIM features Sakura, Kim Chaewon, Huh Yunjin, Kazuha, and Hong Eunchae. ILLIT includes Yunah, Park Minju, Moka, Wonhee, and Iroha. KATSEYE’s lineup in the project consists of Sophia Laforteza, Daniela Avanzini, Lara Raj, Megan Skiendiel, and Yoonchae Jeung.

KATSEYE performed at the Governors Ball Music Festival on June 5, 2026, in New York. The group drew one of the largest audiences for a non-headlining act at the event. They opened their set with Pinky Up and performed songs including Gnarly.
The members appeared in colorful polka-dot outfits. The set featured precise choreography and elements like ruffled skirts and Yankees-themed hats. This followed their Japan 2nd digital single Sunday Morning released on January 13, 2026. The group is currently on their first Asia concert tour ILLIT Live Press Start with shows in Japan throughout June and July 2026.
