Former NFL wide receiver Dez Bryant taunted New York Knicks fans after their loss to the San Antonio Spurs in Game 3 of the NBA Finals. His comments came after the crowd at Madison Square Garden loudly booed Donald Trump during his appearance before tipoff.
The former Cowboys star took to X (formerly Twitter) to share his thoughts on the fans’ reception of Trump.
Thanks for the submission!
“That’s what you Knicks fans get for hating on President Trump!🇺🇸🤣,” Bryant captioned the tweet.

Knicks fans were not thrilled by Trump’s appearance at the game and did not hold back in sharing their honest views, booing every time the president appeared on the big screen. However, the jeers did not seem to affect Trump, who waved back and saluted the crowd amid the boos.
Things only got worse for the New York faithful as they were silenced by the San Antonio Spurs, who secured a 115-111 win, ending the Knicks’ 13-game win streak. Meanwhile, the Spurs have a fighting chance once more and will hope to even the series when they meet again on Wednesday.
Despite a demoralizing night for Knicks fans, they will relish the first Finals game at MSG since 1999. While a series sweep is now out of the picture, Brunson and Co. will be eyeing a gentleman’s sweep as they hope to send San Antonio packing by Game 5. That said, the series remains well balanced, with both teams picking up wins on the road as the Finals continue to deliver.
Donald Trump returned to New York for Game 3 of the NBA Finals as he was in attendance for the Knicks’ outing against the San Antonio Spurs at Madison Square Garden.
During the game, Trump was seated alongside Knicks owner James Dolan and appeared to converse with NBA Commissioner Adam Silver at one point.
After the game, Trump reflected on his return to New York and his experience at the game while addressing his brief exchange with the commissioner.
“He (Adam Silver) came over to pay his respects,” Trump said. “We spoke briefly about the NBA and how the game has changed. I mentioned that it’s become more physical, which I think is a good thing … I don’t remember it being like this 10 years ago.”
Despite Trump’s attendance at the game being criticized by many, he appeared to enjoy himself, even though his team lost to the Spurs.
