A major WWE star advanced in the King of the Ring tournament following a chaotic conclusion to this week’s RAW. The promotion is currently on the road to Night of Champions later this month in Saudi Arabia.
Seth Rollins, Je’Von Evans, Ricky Saints, and Talla Tonga competed in a Fatal 4-Way match in the main event of tonight’s edition of WWE RAW. The winner of the match would advance to the semifinals of the King of the Ring tournament.
Thanks for the submission!
Talla Tonga leveled Je’Von Evans with a shoulder tackle and started talking trash with Rollins in the middle of the ring. When WWE RAW returned from a commercial break, Evans connected with a Spanish Fly on Saints.
Seth Rollins hit Evans with a Pedigree, but couldn’t go for the cover as Talla Tonga broke it up. Evans sent everyone out of the ring and hit a massive Splash on the floor.
Rollins then hit Saints with a Stomp and went for the cover, but Austin Theory dragged the referee out of the ring. Montez Ford attacked Austin Theory and brawled through the crowd. Bron Breakker then leveled Seth Rollins with a Spear and left the ring. Evans then hit Saints with an OG Cutter for the pinfall victory to advance in the tournament.
Seth Rollins used to be the leader of The Vision but was betrayed by the group following his injury at WWE Crown Jewel last year.
RAW star Seth Rollins recently shared that he still does not like CM Punk. The Second City Saint has not competed since losing the World Heavyweight Championship to Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 42.
In an interview with Prince St. PizzaRollins noted that a lot of people liked CM Punk, but he was not one of them. The Visionary also suggested that their relationship would be difficult to repair.
“Well, there’s this guy. His name is CM Punk, a real a**hole this guy… I don’t like him. A lot of people love him. He and I don’t get along. We don’t see eye to eye. It has a long history there. I’m not a grudge holder, really. I wouldn’t consider myself. He’s an exception to the rule. [Is he a phony?] I would say so. He’s an interesting cat because if you love him, a lot of CM Punk fans out there, you believe and hang on every single word he says. But if you know the guy like I do, I see through all of it. He would probably say the same thing about me… I mean, there’s certainly some bad blood there. I think it would be a tough relationship to repair. I don’t know,” Rollins said.
It will be interesting to see which WWE star wins the King of the Ring tournament and earns a title shot at SummerSlam 2026.
