The first match of the ODI series will be held on June 13 at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamshala, followed by the second match on June 17. The third and final match of the bilateral series will be on June 20.
It is learnt that Virat Kohli has been ruled out of the series entirely because of a hamstring injury he received during the IPL 2026 final. According to the report, the batter has consulted with a renowned orthopaedic surgeon at the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai regarding the injury.
Virat Kohli has a tear in his hamstring and will have to spend six weeks out of action. The injury is not minor, but he needs no surgery for recovery.
“He has a hamstring tear. The injury won’t require surgery. It will take about six weeks of healing time, which will also involve rehabilitation at the BCCI’s Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru,” a source close to the development informed TOI.
“He tele-consulted renowned orthopaedic surgeon Dr Dinshaw Pardiwalla (at the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai), who reviewed his MRI scans,” mentioned further.
