Female WWE Champion Seen on Crutches After Recent Match

A female WWE champion was seen using crutches on television tonight. The superstar sustained an injury on a recent episode of NXT.

The name being discussed is WWE Women’s Speed Champion Wren Sinclair. On the May 26, 2026, episode of NXT, she locked horns with former NXT Women’s North American Champion Kelani Jordan. Unfortunately for Sinclair, she sustained an injury during the contest and lost to Jordan in less than 12 minutes.

Jordan blindsided Wren Sinclair before the match could start. The WWE Women’s Speed Champion couldn’t recover from the assault and even ended up hurting her knee. In a backstage segment, a doctor ordered an MRI, indicating that Sinclair was seriously injured.

On tonight’s episode of NXT, Lola Vice, who currently holds the Women’s Championship, showed up. She delivered a promo discussing her recent win over Izzi Dame and her upcoming match at AAA Noche De Los Grandes 2026. Vice was about to reveal her next major move before Kelani Jordan interrupted her.

Kelani Jordan staked her claim at the NXT Women’s Championship and said she was being held back. Kendal Grey and Wren Sinclair also arrived to join the champion and Jordan in the ring.

Kendal Grey also claimed that she had earned a shot at the NXT Women’s Championship. She highlighted her wins over Jordan and Vice in the Iron Survivor Challenge. Grey also blamed Jordan for injuring the WWE Women’s Speed Champion. During the segment, Sinclair was on crutches.

In the end, Lola Vice announced a number one contender’s match between Kelani Jordan and Kendal Grey. Jordan and Grey will now square off to determine Vice’s next challenger for the NXT Women’s Championship. The title match will take place at NXT Great American Bash 2026.
