IPL 2026 concluded on Sunday, May 31 with a one-sided final between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Gujarat Titans (GT) at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. RCB beat GT by five wickets to win their second title in a row.
Bowling first after winning the toss, RCB did a wonderful job to restrict GT to 155-8. Rasikh Salam Dar claimed three scalps, while Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Josh Hazlewood picked up two scalps each. For GT, Washington Sundar scored a fighting 50. In the chase, Virat Kohli guided RCB home with an unbeaten 75 off 42 balls, while Venkatesh Iyer contributed 32 in just 16 balls.
There were a number of memorable performances from Indian players in IPL 2026. On that note, we put together an all-Indian playing 11 of IPL 2026.
Top order: Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, Virat Kohli and Ishan Kishan (wk)
Rajasthan Royals’ (RR) Vaibhav Sooryavanshi and RCB’s Kohli would be the openers in the all-Indian playing 11 of IPL 2026. Sooryavanshi had a sensational campaign and finished as the season’s leading run-getter. In 16 innings, he amassed 776 runs at an average of 48.50 and a strike rate of 237.30, with the aid of one century and five half-centuries.
Kohli ended yet another memorable IPL campaign with 675 runs in 16 innings at an average of 56.25 and a strike rate of 165.84, with one hundred and five half-centuries. He achieved a number of impressive milestones during the tournament, which included becoming the first player to score 9,000 IPL runs. He also slammed his fastest fifty in the final, getting there in just 25 balls.

Punjab Kings (PBKS) skipper Shreyas Iyer also had an impressive IPL 2026 campaign. In 13 innings, he totaled 498 runs at an average of 55.33 and a strike rate of 168.81, with one hundred and five half-centuries. Shreyas notched up his maiden IPL ton against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at Ekana Stadium. The whirlwind knock (101* off 51) featured 11 fours and five sixes.
RCB skipper Rajat Patidar would be the captain of the all-Indian playing XI for IPL 2026. For the second season in a row, he stood up as captain of the Bengaluru franchise. Patidar also led from the front with the bat, showing unfiltered aggression. In 14 innings, he contributed 501 runs, averaging 41.75 at a strike rate of 192.69. Patidar’s 93* off 33 stunned GT in Qualifier 1.
RCB’s Krunal Pandya and RR’s Ravindra Jadeja would be the two spin bowling all-rounders in the all-Indian playing XI for IPL 2026. Krunal was excellent with the ball again, claiming 14 wickets at an economy rate of 8.41. He struck some key blows, including in the final. With the ball, he chipped in with 226 runs at a strike rate of 145.80, which included 73 off 46 against MI in Raipur.
Jadeja made an impressive return to the RR fold, making some handy contributions with bat and ball. With his left-arm spin, he claimed 10 wickets at an economy rate of 8.39. With the bat, the southpaw scored 266 runs at a strike rate of 135.02.
Bowlers: Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Rasikh Salam Dar, Mohammed Siraj and Prince Yadav.
Bhuvneshwar had a terrific IPL 2026 campaign. He finished as the second-leading wicket-taker in the season, with 28 wickets in 16 matches at an average of 17.89 and an economy rate of 7.95. His performance was among the main reasons why RCB were able to defend their IPL title.
Rasikh Salam was an unexpected hero in RCB’s IPL 2026 triumph. He finished the season with 19 wickets in 12 matches at an average of 21.31 and an economy rate of 9.45. The right-arm pacer proved expensive at times, but ended up being a genuine wicket-taker for RCB in the recently concluded season.
GT’s Mohammed Siraj and LSG’s Prince Yadav would be the other two pace bowlers in the all-Indian IPL 2026 playing XI. Yet again, Siraj gave it his all, claiming 19 wickets in 17 matches at an average of 29.57 and an economy rate of 9.06. He starred with 3-26 against CSK in Ahmedabad.
Prince made a huge impression with his pace and potency for LSG. In 14 matches, he claimed 16 wickets at an average of 28.68 and an economy rate of 8.82. The right-arm fast bowler claimed 3-33 against RCB at Ekana Stadium. His wickets included the prized scalp of Kohli for a duck.
