Pets in Build a Ring Farm make a significant impact on your farm by offering unique passives and earning boosts. They apply mutations, boost crop yield, provide fertilizers and pet treats, improve plant growth rates, and more. The critters are primarily hatched from eggs but some are exclusively available from packs and Robux purchases.
This guide covers the rarities, passives, and obtainability of every pet in Build a Ring Farm, allowing you to choose the best companions for improving the farm’s efficiency.

Unless you buy the “+1 Pet Equip” gamepass, a single pet can be placed on any floor of your farm. The passive ability of this pet only affects the crops and machines on that specific floor where it is active. Thus, it is essential to learn about each critter’s ability before selecting one for your farm.
The “+1 Pet Equip” gamepass costs 799 Robux in the Premium Shop. It allows you to keep two pets on a floor of your farm. This is particularly useful for veterans aiming to improve their income to reach the top of the leaderboard.
Notably, every pet has three sizes or versions, namely Regular, Bigand Giant. The Giant version of a pet offers the best passive and earning boosts, followed by the Big and the Regular versions. However, getting a Giant-sized companion from any egg is extremely rare.
A pet can be upgraded to Level 50. Each upgrade requires Cash, the currency earned from crop sales, and the price for an enhancement rises progressively. Upgrades improve the effects provided by the pets or reduce the cooldown of their passives.
If you want to make space in your pet inventory, sell the spare ones to the Egg Merchant. This is the same merchant who displays pet eggs for sale: Basic Eggs, Rare Eggs, and Epic Eggs.

As of Update 4, there are 17 pets in Build a Ring Farmincluding seven limited critters. The limited pets can be obtained from the Kitsune Pack, the Dinosaur Egg, and the Starfall Griffin Robux purchase.
