Daniel Cormier raises doubts over deleted Eric Trump DMs about “rigged” UFC Freedom 250 fights

Daniel Cormier was caught in the eye of a storm after posted and then deleted a social media discussion with Eric Trump.

Eric, the son of US President Donald Trump, apparently wanted some information about the fights at the UFC Freedom 250 event.

The exchange, which was screenshotted and captured by many accounts before it was deleted, saw Eric bring up the Diego Lopes vs. Steve Garcia fight which opens the card.

Eric wanted to know if any of the fights were “rigged” and wanted to be on some of them. Cormier didn’t take kindly to this and shot back at Eric by replying:

“No none of our fights rigged and honestly I am appaled that you would even ask me something like that.”

The former UFC champion also posted the screenshots on X and hit out at Eric before quickly deleting the same:

“I’m probably going to get a lot of flak for bringing this to light, however I refuse to stay silent. The UFC is a sport that I am deeply passionate about I will not tolerate this type of insider behavior. Shame on anyone trying to ruin this beautiful event.”

It is unknown why Cormier tweeted the message and then deleted it, but he raised doubts over his post after sharing a simple message on X:

“Are people really this dumb?”

Cormier is part of the commentary team for the big event alongside Joe Rogan and Jon Anik. The UFC Hall of Fame member has not posted anything else after his latest message. With the event finally starting after a weather delay, it might take some time before he says anything about this exchange on social media.
