Lyra Valkyria makes bold prediction about WWE future following disappointing loss

Lyra Valkyria made a bold prediction about her WWE future following a disappointing loss on SmackDown. The 29-year-old became the inaugural Women’s Intercontinental Champion last year.

Valkyria has struggled a bit since her reign as Women’s Intercontinental Champion and came up short this past Friday night on WWE SmackDown. Charlotte Flair defeated the popular star, Jade Cargill, and Women’s Intercontinental Champion Sol Ruca in a Fatal 4-Way match to advance in the Queen of the Ring tournament. Flair will be squaring off against Liv Morgan this Friday on SmackDown in the semifinals.

Following her loss on SmackDown, Valkyria took to social media today and admitted that she had a tough weekend. However, the former champion seemed optimistic about her future and suggested that she would turn things around before the end of the year. You can check out Valkyria’s message in her post below.

“Maybe it’s not my weekend, but it’s gonna be my year amirite, AM I RIGHT!??,” wrote Valkyria.

Lyra Valkyria is also in an alliance with Bayley but the popular duo failed to capture the Women’s Tag Team Championships at WWE WrestleMania. Paige made her surprise return at The Show of Shows and won the titles alongside Brie Bella. Nikki Bella was originally supposed to compete, but she had to back out due to a severe ankle injury.
