Sean Strickland seemingly finds a ticket for UFC Freedom 250 after being snubbed by Dana White

It appears Sean Strickland may still end up attending UFC Freedom 250 despite being denied an invite from the UFC itself – the very promotion where he reigns as the middleweight champion.

Earlier this month, Strickland claimed that he had been barred from attending the White House event, alleging that his criticism of Donald Trump and U.S.-Israel relations may have played a role in the decision.

In a subsequent interview, Dana White noted that no one, including Strickland, had been banned from the event. However, he clarified that the middleweight champion had not been sent an invite.

Now it appears ‘Tarzan’ may be attending the White House event after all. In a recent post on X, the fighter suggested that he had managed to secure a ticket, writing:

Strickland had previously suggested that he was prepared to force his way into the event to voice his views on Trump and Israel.

UFC Freedom 250 will go down on Sunday, June 14, at the South Lawn of the White House. Around 4,000 fans are expected to attend the event live at the venue, with an additional 85,000 set to join a watch party at Ellipse Park.

A lightweight title unification between champion Ilia Topuria and interim titleholder Justin Gaethje will headline the event. Alex Pereira and Ciryl Gane will lock horns in the co-main event for the interim heavyweight title.

Other big names, including Sean O’Malley, Michael Chandler, and Bo Nickal, are also part of the event.

Sean Strickland wants to spar fans at UFC Freedom 250 watch party

Sean Strickland seems to like the idea of joining the UFC Freedom 250 watch party at Ellipse Park. In fact, the middleweight champion isn’t just looking to show up; he seems eager to get involved in some good-natured shenanigans with the fans.

In a recent social media post, ‘Tarzan’ stated that if he ends up at the Ellipse, he plans to set up a circle where he can wrestle and spar with fans:

“I have to admit it would be cool to go to The Ellipse. If I go, we’re 100 percent setting up a circle to wrestle/fight on the grass….. bring some gloves lol. It’s going to make Andrew Jackson real proud.”
