Vanessa Trump Shares Candid Update Amid Breast Cancer Battle


Vanessa Trump is sharing a candid health update amid her ongoing breast cancer battle.

“I wanted to share an update on my cancer journey,” Trump, 48, wrote via Instagram on Saturday, June 13. “Over the past four weeks, I’ve been recovering from surgery, and I’m grateful to be healing and moving forward. Soon, I’ll be starting the second stage of my treatment.”

She concluded, “Sending love, strength, and hope to everyone fighting this battle.”

On May 20, Trump — who shares three children with her ex-husband Donald Trump Jr.son of President Donald Trump and the late Ivana Trump — announced she has been diagnosed with cancer.

“While this isn’t news anyone expects, I’m working closely with my medical team on a treatment plan,” she wrote via Instagram at the time. “I would like to thank my doctors for performing a procedure earlier this week on me. I am staying focused and hopeful while surrounded by the love and support of my family, my kids, and those closest to me.”

She added, “Thank you for your kindness and support it truly means more than I can express. I kindly ask for privacy as I focus on my health and recovery.”

Vanessa is currently dating golf legend Tiger Woodswho is reportedly overseas attending a rehabilitation program for an unspecified issue amid his recent DUI arrest. (The golfer has pleaded not guilty to charges of DUI with property damage and refusal to submit to a lawful urine test.)

“I know and understand the seriousness of the situation I find myself in today,” Woods said at the time, breaking his silence on the arrest. “I am stepping away for a period of time to seek treatment and focus on my health. This is necessary in order for me to prioritize my well-being and work towards lasting recovery.”

Woods continued, “I’ve committed to taking the time needed to return in a healthier, stronger, and more focused place, both personally and professionally. I appreciate your understanding and support, and ask for privacy for my family, loved ones and myself at this time.”

The golfer had returned home to Florida for just over a week after Vanessa revealed her diagnosis. According to photos published by TMZ at the time, Woods was stateside on May 13 after first entering into treatment on April 3.

“Tiger should be in a planned program for a while more,” a source told People in a May 26 report. “He is doing fine and on the road to a healthier future.”

“He wants to feel better and play golf,” a second source added. “He wants to live a good life and be with those he loves. This is what he has to do to get to that point.”
