Arsenal’s search for a new attacker continues to be one of the biggest stories of their summer transfer window.
Mikel Arteta and sporting director Andrea Berta are determined to add more firepower to a squad that successfully delivered the Premier League title last season.
The Gunners have already been strongly linked with Aston Villa star Morgan Rogers, who remains one of the most highly-rated attacking players in English football.
Rogers is admired for his ability to play across multiple positions and his combination of pace, power and creativity would make him an attractive addition to almost any side in Europe.
Another player who has featured prominently in Arsenal’s recruitment discussions is Athletic Club winger Nico Williams.

The Spain international has long been viewed as one of the most dangerous wide players in European football and continues to attract interest from several elite clubs, including the Gunners.
Arsenal’s recruitment team appear to believe adding greater competition and depth in attacking areas could be crucial as they attempt to defend their league crown and challenge again in the Champions League.

Fabrizio Romano shares Arsenal transfer blow with Bayern Munich deal “very close”
The Gunners are about to miss out on a ‘significant’ target.
There is also the matter of senior forwards potentially departing N5, with Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard tipped for high-profile exits this summer.
While supporters have understandably focused on those high-profile names, another target has now emerged from Belgium.
According to BBC journalist Sami Mokbel, Club Brugge forward Christos Tzolis has been offered to Arsenal and is now under serious consideration.
His report claims that Berta is actively pursuing a deal worth around £35 million for the Greece international.
Mokbel adds that this comes after Berta’s assistant Maurizio Micheli watched Tzolis in action against Sweden last week as the club continued gathering information on the player.
Importantly, Arteta is also said to support the potential signing.
That backing from the manager could prove significant as Arsenal weigh up whether to accelerate their interest.
Tzolis has quietly developed into one of the most productive attackers in Belgian football over the past year.
The 24-year-old enjoyed an outstanding campaign with Club Brugge, racking up an incredible 22 goals and 29 assists across 52 appearances in all competitions.
Capable of operating on either flank as well as in more central attacking positions, Tzolis offers the sort of versatility Arsenal value highly when identifying transfer targets.
His direct style of play has made him a difficult opponent for defenders, and those qualities have helped him establish himself as one of the standout performers in the Belgian Pro League.
The reported £35 million fee would also place him below the cost of several marquee alternative targets currently being discussed.
That could make the deal particularly attractive if Arsenal decide to invest heavily elsewhere in the squad.
Interest appears genuine, but Arsenal will likely continue assessing all available options before making a final decision.
What is clear, however, is that the club remain fully committed to strengthening their attack.
Whether that ultimately means Rogers, Williams, Tzolis or another target entirely remains to be seen.
