Teenage batting sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi and his amazing rise have been dominating the headlines for the last few months. But now, another member of the family has turned heads. His younger brother, Aashirwad Sooryavanshi, has impressed everyone with a fantastic century in a local practice match in Bihar.
As Vaibhav gets ready to make it internationally, the 10-year-old Aashirwad has shown that cricket talent runs deep in the family. His fearless batting has already left everyone impressed.

Aashirwad Sooryavanshi was playing for Cricket Academy Tajpur in Samastipur when he scored a superb 103 runs from 87 balls. He played some beautiful shots all around the ground, hitting 20 fours and one six at a stunning strike rate of 118.39.
Soon after the century, proud elder brother Vaibhav Sooryavanshi congratulated Aashirwad through a social media post and celebrated his special achievement. The left-handed batter shared a collage of the scorecard and his younger brother’s photo on his Instagram story.
Vaibhav, who was recently backed to do some wonders for India, also highlighted the score and wrote, ‘Congratulations, Aashirwad,’ with two red heart emojis.

Well, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi finished the IPL 2026 as the highest run-scorer with 776 runs in 16 matches at a strike rate of over 230 and won the Orange Cap. His incredible performance earned him his first call-up to the Indian team for the upcoming Ireland and England tours as well as for the Asian Games 2026. He is currently playing for India A in the one-day tri-series in Sri Lanka.
Recently, the BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia revealed that the board has decided to make a special arrangement for Vaibhav during the UK tour. Recently, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi tipped to surpass Virat Kohli and Sachin Tendulkar.
Keeping his age in mind, the BCCI will allow his parents to travel with him so that he has their support while staying away from home during the maiden trip.
Saikia was quoted as saying by Hindustan Times: “We will make a request to his parents. If they are willing to go, then they can go. If his parents wish to go to England, BCCI will support that because he is a kid. So, he would need some time to assimilate with the senior boys.”
“So, from that perspective, we are helping. This is not something we allow all parents to do. It is not that, but because he is 15 years old, he should feel comfortable, and he should take some time to adjust to the adult world.”
Meanwhile, former India fast bowler S Sreesanth has advised Vaibhav to stay fully focused on his game and not get carried away by the attention or people managing his career.
He also praised the young batting talent’s hard work, discipline, and the strong support and sacrifices made by his family behind his success, and stated to stay away from distractions and managers.
