League of Legends LCK 2026 Road to MSI puts T1 up against PLEASE (Hanwha Life Esports) on June 12, 2026, where the winner will book its spot at MSI 2026. It is the third matchup in this qualifier event, but there’s no elimination on the line this time. The losing squad will fall to the lower bracket and face the winner of the Gen.G vs KT Rolster series occurring on June 13 (for another chance to play MSI).

Prediction
With six teams participating in the LCK 2026 Road to MSI, only four now remain: T1, PLEASE, Gen.Gand KT Rolster. Notably, the winner of the best-of-five series between T1 and HLE will directly qualify for the MSI 2026. These are the top two teams from the LCK 2026 Regular Season (after Round 2).
T1 has been phenomenal in the past couple of weeks, specifically, the team’s bot lane duo of Peyz and Dig it up. They are great at generating early-game gold leads, then snowballing efficiently to the end. That said, jungler Oner has also been pathing a lot towards the bot lane recently, which usually solidifies the bot lane’s advantage.
As for T1’s mid laner, Fakerhe’s great at roaming at the appropriate times. He prioritizes Anivia, Twisted Fate, and some other champions and often leaves his own lane to help others. While this is a bit unorthodox, the playstyle is working quite well for the team.

HLE, on the other hand, is full of superstars, and any player can single-handedly carry the team to victory. Nevertheless, the most influential players have been the team’s midlaner, Intelligenceand the jungler, Kanvi. Their aggressive playstyle and team fight mechanics have been exceptional.
But all eyes will be on the bot lane and how Gumayusi performs against his former team, T1. While he is sometimes criticized for having a limited champion pool, that criticism is very false. Most of the time, he takes on the opponent’s ADC and support solo, which helps the team gain an advantage elsewhere on the map. For that reason, Gumayusi picks champions with great utility, which he uses to lane alone and to help during team fights.
All in all, the 2v2 matchup between Peyz-Keria and Gumayusi-Delight will be a treat to watch for the fans. With so many narratives and so much on the line, the T1 vs HLE best-of-five series will be a competitive affair. However, HLE has a stronger team overall, which should be considered more viable than T1’s clutch factor.
