Kaley Cuoco has announced her second pregnancy with Tom Pelphrey. The couple has a daughter named Matilda, who was born on March 30, 2023.
The Big Bang Theory star shared a carousel post on Instagram on Wednesday, June 10. It showed pictures of her and Pelphrey together with Matilda, and also pictures of her baby bump in different scenarios. The couple also revealed the sex of the baby, as they showed a cake that revealed a pink interior, confirming it’s a girl.
In the caption of her post, Kaley Cuoco wrote:
“completing our little family , what a dream come true ! 💖 This second time around journey has been a little windier in many ways , but wow we are so grateful for this moment!! Little sissy on the way!!! @tommypelphrey girl dad for life 🎀 and yes, the last pic is our dainty princess giving us the middle finger!”
Kaley Cuoco is 40 years old, and Tom Pelphrey is 43. She is widely known for her roles in series such as The Big Bang Theory and The Flight Attendant. She announced her engagement to Pelphrey in August 2024.
The actress, notably, spoke about potentially extending her family in an interview with PEOPLE in September 2024. When asked if her dogs will also be part of the wedding, Cuoco said that they hadn’t planned anything yet and that “maybe another kid will have to come first.”
She also said that people were already asking about her having a second child when Matilda was born, saying:
“The minute I had my baby, they’re like, ‘When’s your second one?’ I’m like, ‘Oh my God, is anyone gonna just let me just enjoy this?’”
Kaley Cuoco added that Matilda kept her busy. She said that the then 1-year-old runs around, “eats everything,” and “loves being outside”. She explained that Matilda also loves “airplanes and monster trucks, helicopters, and horses.”

When Kaley Cuoco opened up about how she met Tom Pelphrey
Kaley Cuoco made her relationship with Tom Pelphrey official in May 2022 via Instagram Stories. They welcomed their daughter, Matilda, in 2023, got engaged in 2024, and are now expecting their second baby together.
The actress revealed that she met Pelphrey through their mutual agent in an interview with USA Today in May 2022. She said:
“We have the same manager (Andrea Pett-Joseph), and we were set up by (her), which is so Hollywood (laughs). She’s like, ‘Oh my God, I think you guys are perfect for each other.'”
“We met at the Ozark premiere (in April), and I was standing with Andrea and Tom walked in, and I heard his voice, and I turned around, and it was like my life was over, or just starting. It hit me. It was love at first sight. We were immediately connected. I do feel like I’ve known him my whole life, but I wasn’t ready for him. We’re ready to build a life together,” she added.
Kaley Cuoco and Tom Pelphrey are also planning their wedding, and the actress said that they plan to “go way out of order” for it.
